The Pavilion, Tennis Courts and Bowls / Croquet Green will remain closed until further notice, this also means that there are currently no toilet facilities.
Play Areas – will all re-open, notices will be displayed with rules for users to adhere to because of COVID 19 concerns. See attached posters at bottom of article for play areas and outdoor gym equipment
All play areas have been risk assessed and have a maximum capacity that should be in the play area at one time. Please See the attached guidance posters for Parents / Guardians and Play Area Users.
Rushyford Park- (maximum capacity 9)
Chilton Academy- (maximum capacity 10)
West Chilton Terrace- (maximum capacity 8)
Miners Welfare- (maximum capacity 8)
The Pentlands- (2 separate fenced areas, maximum 9 in one area and 8 in other as displayed on site). Note: the outdoor gym equipment has separate rules – see attached.

Scientific advice suggests that COVID -19 virus can survive for up to several days on some hard surfaces. The risks are reduced when outdoors, where surfaces are subject to UV light and/or rain. Play Area users do so at their own risk
