Following the recent Government advice on public gatherings, Durham Constabulary has decided to suspend the regular Police and Communities Together (PACT) meetings which take place across the force area.
The decision has been taken to protect those who attend the meetings during the current Covid-19 outbreak and our beat officers will still be out there: patrolling the streets, responding to incidents and dealing with community concerns.
While you wont see our officers at neighbourhood meetings for a while, you’ll still see them on the streets and there are plenty of other ways to get in touch with your local beat team, through email, social media or website.
