Once again Chilton Academy agreed to particIpate in the annual bulb planting event with the Mayor, Councillor Elizabeth Bruce. Last year bulbs were planted opposite the school so it was decided to plant the remaining area. On Friday 25th October 2019 despite the pouring rain year 2 pupils excitedly helped plant blue bell and daffodil bulbs with the help of Scott Ellwood, SE Landscaping.The Mayor, Councillor E. Bruce said, It was a pleasure to work with the year 2 children who were all eager to be involved despite the wet weather. Hopefully they will all be pleased when the flowers blossom in the Spring”
