Local residents and Town Councillor’s Alan and Elizabeth Bruce celebrated their Golden Wedding on Friday 2nd August 2019. It is usual practice if available for the Mayor to deliver flowers on behalf of the Town Council to couples celebrating their Golden Wedding.
As Councillor Elizabeth Bruce is the current Town Mayor the Deputy Mayor, Councillor Julie Cairns kindly did the honours and presented the couple with a beautiful bouquet and congratulated them both.
