I have worked within local government for 28 years. 22 of these years working for Sedgefield Borough Council's Environmental Services Section and then moving to Chilton Parish Council in 2000 as part-time Parish Clerk. The Parish Council changed its name to Chilton Town Council in 2004.
I have a Diploma in Management obtained at New College Durham.
I enjoy working with people to make Chilton a better place to live. In the last 3 years Chilton has changed dramatically I feel that I and the staff have contributed to these enhancements.
I am working to towards the clerk's qualification and with elected members to obtain Quality Status and the Town Council's business plan.
I have 3 children, Kimberly, Christopher and Olivia.
Hobbies: I enjoy gardening, computing and photography.
